    Hi,
    I guess I'm a newbie
    My problem is as follows:
I record a movie on my hard disk-equipped Viasat box.
I later play that movie, while at the same time recording it on a DVD-R disc in my DVD-recorder (via scart).
Take the DVD downstairs, to my computer.
Open the movie in DVD Shrink (lovely program!) and crop it (remove start and end sequences).
    Save as Video_TS
    Burn this with Nero 7.
Watch the video on my TV via my regular DVD player.
After approx. one hour I notice that the subtitle (Swedish) is lagging 5 to 10 seconds, increasing as the movie continues. Where in the chain could this happen?

Are the subtitles in sync BEFORE you edit it with dvd shrink? ...hmm...so the dvd recorder are making "switchable" subtitles from the viasat box?

I'm not certain what you mean - I work with pure video_ts (vob and so on), how do I even find the subs in these files? I have done som reauthoring with avi-files and separate subs (going from 25 fps to 23.997? i think) but I don't have access to the subs in this case.

  5. When you load the DVD in DVD Shrink can you see the subtitle stream listed?
