    i have a question.
    Im using dvd shrink to backup some of dvds so my son can watch then in his room. With out me worrying about scratches and lost dvd's and such. My problem is every dvd i back up skips and freezes. Right now im working on backing up my transformers collection and every dvd skips like mad so if anybody has any tips are help that would be great thanks alot.

    Sounds pretty much like a media quality/compatibility issue.
    Use quality media (see www.nomorecoasters.com) and burn using ImgBurn, a notch or 2 below rated burn speed. Also, make your backups like 4.2 GB or something, not to fill the DVD to the brim (it's the outer edge of the disk that is most error prone).

    Also use DVDFabDecrypter FIRST to rip the DVD to your hard drive...THEN use
    DVDShrink. DVDShrink alone cannot handle newer encryption methods since
    it is no longer being updated...and hasn't been for a long, long time.
    It requires quite a bit of hard drive space....but only temporarily.

    Well, DVD shrink works fine in combinatin with AnyDvd for newer DVDs. Let AnyDvd scan the disk first and then open it in DVD shrink...
