Hello. I'm about to join the world of NLE, and from what I've read, Sony Vegas Pro 8 seems to be the best choice for me. Is it possible to install this software on more than one computer?

IIFC it requires a serial and then activation. so no, one serial is good for one computer like M.S. operating systems.

This ability is one of the key reasons I finally jumped ship from Premiere to Vegas.John Miller -
johnnyM - i guess i assumed incorrectly from the activation and never tried more than one. i'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to that sort of thing. thanks for the info, i've got two more here i'd use it on occasionally.

How would anybody know if it was being used on more than one computer at a time? Do you have to connect to the Internet each time you use it and Sony is monitoring and logging each use?

They wouldn't - but you would and your guilty gene should start twitching!
