Is there a small util like AVIO.exe that enables capturing HD from the camera?
I always used AVIO.exe for my DV camcorder but borrowed a friends Sony to play with.
Ulead DVD MovieFactory captures it at 24bit 1440 X 1080 16X9 29.970fps 25000kps
Its saved as MPEG2.
Would capturing with Windows Media Encoder be better if I want to show the video from my computer at HD or is the MPEG at above sampling basically the same as HD-WMV?
I output my pc via HDMI to my 42" Sharp Aquios at 1920 X 1080. Was kinda thrown by 1440 instead of 1920...
Thank you for your time.
