    How do I set my render files?
    Mine keep going right to my trash and I don't want them going there.
    I looked all over and so far I have not found a way to direct them.

    Any takers?

    FCP Preferences-->System Prefs I believe,
    I'm not on my main machine right now,
    but it's the same place you set your Scratch and Capture Discs.

    Final Cut Pro manual, pp 672-677.
    Something in your sequence is perhaps not nested,
    and FCP is deleteing the renders upon you
    making new changes and saving.

    Follow the manual, double check what you are doing,
    an try nesting the sequence. IF that doesn't work,
    then try running FCP rescue, and then re-set up the
    Render manager, and the Scratch Disc for FCP.
