    What is with Liteon. I have two Liteon Recorders, a 5115 from Costco and a DD-100GX from Best Buy. Both players have the latest firmware. I use Sony DPW47L2 RW discs. for every one SOny disc that works, I get 3 that say Invalid disc error? WHat is causing this?

    I use ROxio, CLoneDVD and DVD Decrypter.

    Sony RW discs are not very good with DVD recorders in my experience, especially with LiteOn equipment. Fine for burners, not recorders.

    The drives in Lite-on burners have a poor record of reliability. I have a drive about to die in my 5005 - takes three tries before it recognizes any of my Verbatim burns or commerical disks at the moment.

    Also have to occaisionally erase my RW media on a PC for the Lite-ON to accept it. Its own erases become inadequate after a few uses.
