I was told you can either hook up your XBOX 360 controller to the computer or buy a new one. Can someone either tell me how to do this or link me to the correct type of controller?

Yep I have used and will use my wireless 360 controller. though you need the wireless usb receiver from microsoft to make it work. I guess the corded usb ones can work right away with drivers.
The wireless receivers has a vista update if you are running vista like I am. Don't know about the corded drivers but I assume the same thing.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
It would be far cheaper to buy the rechargable battery pack and cable than the wireless unit,I charge mine on my laptop cos its closer than the xbox and when plugged into the usb port the pc recognises it and asks to download the software.
