hey y'all

i followed this guide i found in the guides section to convert a dvd to avi using GK but im getting frustrated with it as i cannot get a single segment of dvd to convert to avi with good quality, no matter what settings i use...

is there anyway anybody can help me convert my dvd? i want to keep the exact same size (PAL 16:9) of the dvd movie and pass it to avi with good quality, no matter what the movie size is (in MB)..

maybe other better programs, tips, etc..

the old dvdx or tmpgenc should do it

You may want to try AutoGK instead. It is easier to setup for the beginner and you still have the option of tweaking everything as you gain more knowledge.
