I have a bunch of Matroska files, which have dual audio and subtitles. In those files the default audio track is set to Japanese and subtitles are ON by default. I use Haali Media splitter and set it to use language track with tag 'eng' (English) as the track to choose while playing and also to turn subtitles OFF while playing.
When I load the file in VirtualDub using AviSynth script, two instances of Haali Media Splitter are opened (I can say that because I can see two Haali Media Splitter icon in the system tray)
and the subtitles are OFF and English Audio track is played.( So no problem)
However, when I play them using Windows Media player 11 (my favourite and default media player), only one instance of Haali Media Splitter is opened,
the subtitles are OFF (just as i set it in Haali Media Splitter options) but the audio played by it is still Japanese. How do I overcome this.
