ok i've been through about 10 cd's now trying to test this and i'm getting pretty frustrated so i'm wondering if someone could just help me out here.
i have an .mpg file from an svcd that i'm converting to vcd using TMPGenc then i've used programs from Nero, VcdEasy, you name it, to convert to the vcd image and i keep getting the same result. when i play the vcd in my dvd player, the video quality looks stunning, besides the green and multi-colored blocks and garbage that appears on it. how can i get rid of this problem? i've followed all the svcd to xvcd tutorials on the board and the site, and i can't get passed this and i don't really want to waste any more cd's.

*btw, here are my .mpg attributes (analyzed thru VCDEasy's MPEG Scan):
MPEG1, PlayingTime=2703.033s, Bitrate=1411200bps, PtsOffset=0340s, 355461 packets

Video Stream: Motion Video, 480x480, 29.97003fps (NTSC), 2450kbps
Audio Stream: Audio Standard MPEG layer2 Stereo, 44100Hz, 229376bps

can someone give me a hand?
thanks!
