TMPGEnc video goes black

I captured video with pinnacle studio dc10plus and I use TMPGEnc to convert to vcd. TMPGEnc starts to convert gets to about 40% and video goes black. Auido works but no video after black screen.

Hi Redemption,

Try the following:

Goto Option->Environmental setting, then to the VFAPI plug-in tab, select 'DirectShow Multi-media File Reader', and then right click to select the option 'Higher priority' (may need to do this a couple of times until DirectShow becomes the top priority!).

I encountered the same problem after installing a newer version of TMPEGEnc, and came across an e-mail that suggested this solution. After applying it, everything was fine again.
