Having trouble with dvd-rw discs. Recently when i erase the disc to record over it, my dvd recorder (Liteon) says that the disc is wrong format, yet i have been using these same dvd-rw discs for a while with no problems in my dvd recorder. When i try to open the disc on my pc, it either says that disc is not correct format, or says the file system on the disc is raw, and names the dvd drive a cd drive. Does anyone know how i can get these dvd-rw discs back into correct file format? Ive tried erasing and formatting the discs, but no joy any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately imgburn erase turned out the same as before - PC wont recognise the disc, says either not compatible/wrong format, or the disc is 0.0 kb and 0.0kb available . Anyone know of any other apps that could sort my dvd-rw's back to being usable on my dvd recorder?

p.s. I can still burn data discs in nero with these rw's, but pc optical drive and dvd recorder just wont recognise them as correct format. Thanks again for your help.
