    I have seen many of those programs here but i don't know which and how to...

    Start reading. Use the tools section. You can search by conversion type (e.g. AVI to MP4) and get a list of tools that fit. Each tool has guides listed. There is also the Guides section (to your left) - start in the Convert section. And finally, there is the User Guides forum, which has even more reading for you.

    You will get more help if you show you have done some of the leg work first, and have some specific questions. A little time spent up front by you is time well invested.
