We created a DVD of my daughters dance videos for college entrance. We took the DVD's of all her recitals and captured them using Tsuanmi DVD Author Pro. I would like to add an arrow on the screen where she is on stage. Ideally it would be nice if I could have it there all the time, but if every so often I could pop it up as she moves around the stage would be great.

What software would I need to accomplish this. Something cheap/free would be great (easy too!). This is the only time I will need to do this.

    Thanks,
    Bob

Hi - This suggestion may surprise you - But the easiest way by far is to make a subtitle showing an arrow, and
then use DvdSubEdit to change the position of each subtitle (showing the arrow) on the screen. You can use SubtitleCreator to create the actual subtitle bitmaps (font, colour etc.) - You can use MuxMan to mux the subtitle and the video into complaint DVD format - All applications are excellent and freeware !

You really need to do this to the video before you encode and author it. Once you have a DVD it is too late. You could do it with WAX2 or ZS4, but you will have to either go back to the source video, or demux the video on the DVD, change it, re-encode it, then re-author.

There is a simple way. Use a good video editor like "VideoStudio 11" and add title tracks anywhere you want to add them. No need to mess with subtitles, etc. You can also use their subtitles scheme , if you wish.
