Hi there. I'm new to the forum so please excuse me if this question was already on here.

I bought a Ramos Q13 MP3 player but I cannot connect with it. I put in the USB plug but nothing happens. I've got no idea what to do or where to go to find it on my PC. I also cannot install te avi converter that I got with it. I don't know if there is some connection between the 2.

    Please, can somebody help me?

    Thank you.

Should be two seperate issues. Based on the specs of your PC, I'll assume you have USB 2.0 ports. Ensure you have the latest MB drivers. After connecting the USB cable to the Q13 and the PC, Windows should see the device and you'll get the "Found new hardware" popup. If you don't, do you have other USB devices that do work with the PC? It could be a bad USB port, cable, or the Q13. Have you tried connecting it to another PC?

As for the software, what error do you get when you try to install it?

Thank you. I have other USB devices that work perfectly and I have switched cables and ports. I fear that it might be the Q13 that is faulty.

When I try to install the software it only says "Cannot install".

go to the mp3 player website and check for a current software download section. It might have issues that have been resolved. Couldn't hurt to look it up.

    Good luck.
