Hey guys I'm new to this. I'm ripping a movie to MKV, but it wont let me include the subtitles in the container, so I'm wondering if I can add them in after. I don't mean with something like VLC but I mean, include them in the file afterwards. Thanks I appreciate any help.

Oh, I'm using DVDFab. It would have to be something that can rip DVDs (Encryption and what not is not a problem). I don't know if handbrake can do this (That is, include subtitles in the MKV file). If you know of others please tell. Or would I have to do it the long way and extract the video, sound, and subtitles then mux them?

You can use mkvtoolnix / mkvmerge to mux subtitles to a mkv.

Or try the AutoMKV to make mkvs from DVDs.
