I have downloaded some blurry MPEG files from Youtube. Is there any powerful software I can use to fix the problem ? I 've tried Avidmux ,Virtualdubmod & vReveal, all these softwares didn't do the job. Is there any powerful software out there can really do the job ? I don't mind paying for the software at all ! Any help would be appreciated ! Thanks Alot !

  2. There's only so much you can do to sharpen an image before it starts looking really ugly. Especially overcompressed Youtube video. Post a sample or a link to the video at youtube.

AviSynth has some sharpening filters that are more flexible than those other programs. You can also try running several consecutive small sharpening filters rather than one big sharpen to get something like a gaussian sharpen. Try Unsharpen Mask if you haven't already. Super resolution filters can use information from multiple frames to get better results. Sometimes edge enhancement filters will work.

mpeg files from youtube? Do you mean mp4 ones?

Using Deemon's Video Enhancer and MSU smart deblocking, Neatvideo and MSU smart sharp (virtualdub fiters can be used with Video Enhancer) you may end up with something decent.
