  6. I've always been wondering why your screenshots, your windows widgets and the overall look looks weird, it doesn't look like any version of Windows I've seen. It looks like your entire interface is made in java or something, it looks different.

  7. thanks for your reply to get the DVD burn menu. with Nero 5.5.6.4

but some things are really confusing without the help file. tried seraching the nero site but couldnt find one.

in the new compiltion box (file>new) there are other options like Cd dom (UDF) and CD-rom(UDF/ISO). Does the latter option create a disc wich can be read on both udf systems and ISO systems ?

should the joliet secondary volume descripter option be checked while creating CDs. however i want maximum compatibility on various systems (ISO 9660 format)

In character set what if i check the DOS option for file system instead of ISO 9660. ? will that be still readable in windows 98, me or XP ?

i created a data cd with Nero using HP 8230e USB 4x4x6x on a Kodak CD-RW media. They were some html files and installation setup files.(file names were longer than 8 characters with spaces between them. THe resulting CD had files which were renamed from lower caps to uppercase names. Also file names with spaces between them - the space was replaced with an underscore. Due to this the html files could not opened properly as the supporting graphics files had their name changed (underscore)

How can i prevent from NERO doing this nasty behavoir ?
