This has started just recently (look at the pic I posted), it seems one out of every three to four discs I burn have errors in them. I don't understand why this is happening, I have been making DVD-Rs for years and have never seen these problems until now. Does anyone know why this is happening?

What media are you using ?
    What burning application ?
Does this happen all the way through, or just at the end of the movie ?

    I use Verbatim 16X DVD-R

DVDFab HD Decrypter - To rip the DVD
    DVD Shrink - To compress
DVD Decrypter and/or ImgBurn - To burn the disc

No, it happens in random spots on the disc. The pic I posted was one of four errors that happened during playback of the movie.

I would try scanning some of the problem discs with either Nero CD/DVD Speed or DVD Info Pro. Just a read test should be enough. If you get errors reported, then either you have had really bad luck with the discs, or you may have either a burner problem (burner slowly dying) or something on the system interrupting the burn. I always scan my burns with DVD Info Pro as a matter of course.

    Ewwww.....@ your scan.

    EDIT:
I did find your firmware and you got the latest one. Time for you to buy a new drive. It's not the media you're using but the drive is dying a slow death. Take a look at the SAMSUNG and PIONEER drives. Although the SAMSUNG SATA 20x S203B drive read speed is not locked so it can rip fast. PIONEER 112 can be used with MEDIA CODE SPEED EDIT to enable faster read speeds. Although it will void the PIONEER warranty should you decide to use it.

Take a look at the SAMSUNG S203B review at Cdfeaks.com. I got 2 of these and they're great readers/burners.
