Sorry, that info tells us nothing. Is this a motherboard with built-in video? If so which one exactly? Or if it's a add on video card, which one? You can go to the motherboard manufacturers site for the former. For a add on card, go the the card manufacturers site. Or, if that fails, go to the chipset makers site. Nvidia and ATI have generic drivers that should work with Vista. But Vista does a fairly good job with it's built in video drivers.

Why do you need a driver and exactly for what?

That is an old motherboard with, frankly, rubbish graphics. The most recent drivers for the on-board video are XP drivers from 2003. The chances of getting official Vista drivers are pretty much zero.

If you want to play with Vista then it is time for an upgrade.

You might find something here : http://unichrome.sourceforge.net/ but I doubt Vista is a focus of this project.
These are the most recent official VIA drivers I could find : http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/215358/via-vt8378-(km400)-display-driver-16.94.35.11-windows-2000-xp-free-download.html

If you can't afford a complete replacement, there are nVidia and ATI AGP graphics cards still around that are supported under Vista and aren't too expensive. They will work a damn site better than your old S3 chip.
