  1. I have my PC in one room (bedroom), and my projector in another room (living room). I want to hook up some PC game pads close to my projector and a USB keyboard. I don't want to go all wireless gamepads...too many batteries. I'm looking to get one of those 4-port USB hubs, (or 6-port if I can find one), and just get a 30 foot USB cable, but I was told that you need some sort of SPECIAL usb cable that can go for 30 feet and keep the signal alive. Please tell me what is the best way I can do this? Also, lemme know if you see any 6-port USB hubs?

    Thanks

You would need a USB extender. Normally USB cables have a maximum length of 15 feet, if I recall correctly. USB Gear has a few: http://www.usbgear.com/USB-Extenders.html

They have quite a few other USB devices at that site, also.

  3. Is it okay if I hook up one of those 4-port USB hub box things to the extender?
