I've read several positive reviews for the DWM370, but so far I have had no luck playing my VCDs. I captured the video with a Dazzle USB device, and encoded with TMPGEnc.
I tried to use Roxio's Easy CD Creator Platinum's VideoCD Creator, which gave me a weird Validate error. (The people at Roxio don't know how to fix it.) If I ignore it, I can still burn the VCD, but all I get is a blue screen when I put it in the player.
Since then, I have tried to burn a VCD with VCDEasy. I had no errors this time but I still only get a blue screen. The disc initializes, which is more than I got with the ECDC disc, but when you press 'play' it stops immediately.
Is anyone else having this problem? Are all the happy DWM370 owners using Nero?
Thanks for the help,
Kaylle
