Strange error message when re-authoring with TMPEGEnc DVD Author 1.6...

I'm trying to re-author a disc using version 1.6.34.89. Clicking "Add DVD video" and then clicking on the VIDEO_TS file ripped to my hard drive produces this error: http://anotheremptysky.org/2007/tmpgenc_error.jpg

I tried adding from the VIDEO_TS folder on the disc itself and get the same error. The disc plays fine on my computer and standalone. I've never encountered this problem with other discs. Any idea what is going on here?

I apologize if this has been addressed before. I did some searching but wasn't even sure how to describe this error message (hence the picture).

Same thing happened to me several weeks ago when I tried to re-author a DVD I made on a standalone DVD recorder. Even though I got that error using TDA, I found that DVD Shrink could open it. So I used the re-author mode in Shrink (w/no compression) to make a new copy, then I was able to open the new copy with TDA and re-author with new menu and chapters...etc.
Try to make a copy with DVD Shrink and see is that will work with TDA.
