Why is it that everytime I want to edit my video, the output video turns out to be too big and in the end,it says that my hard disk is full. The thing is the original video size is only 20 MB and when edited with vdubmod, the output will be around 3 GB!!Someone help me please, how to make the size as it is or at least not TOO BIG when edited with vdubmod.

Most times when editing with VDM, you save out as a 'Direct stream copy'. But that will only work for cuts and pastes, no filtering or cropping. But the file will be the same size, minus whatever you have cut out of it.
If you use 'Full processing mode' and don't select a output codec, it will default to raw AVI and the files will be huge.So if you are using full processing, be sure to select a codec, usually the same as the input video. You will also have to up the bitrate a little over the original if you don't want too much quality loss. That will make the files somewhat bigger, but not by the amount you are reporting.

What codec did you select?
If Divx try setting it to "1-pass constant quality" mode and set the "fixed quantizer" to 3.
Xvid's equivalent is called "single pass" and set the "target quantizer" to 3.
