change hd in liteon 5025

Excuse me becouse I don´t speak English

it wanted to change hd of my liteon 5025 of 80gb by another one of 320gb, but not it with himself.

I formated the disc of 320gb in my computer in FAT32-64K (FAT32FORMAT) but my liteon does not recognize it.

Erasing/formated the disc in my Liteon it seems that it does not maintain the typical form. I have read something on rewriting the MRB but I have not understood it.

When I finish and I do a CHKDSK says to me that the disc this in way RAW, and does not recognize the LITEON.

Mostly likely the new HDD is too large. The firmware of the unit probably can't recognize a drive of that size. It is usually recommended to use the same drive size. Only try a larger drive if you know for sure the unit will support it.

The link you referenced above is for model 5045...you have the 5025. It's possible the 5025 won't support larger drives.
