I've had some good results with FixVTS (which I think those evil MV bastids killed off not too long ago), but that was on things where the file structure problems were probably not too severe. I don't know how bad it has to get before that tool would become ineffective.
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.

    Tried FixVTS. But no lick.

Home brew video. It's such a pain to take the VOB files and rebuild the whole thing.

If nothing works, take VOBs and drop it into IFOEdit program. It will create new IFOs and BUPs for your video.

First try to open in shrink to create a new backup(VIDEO_TS folder), try it...
On home brew video I'd use Vob2mpg> then on new MPG use proggie like DVDFlick....or ConvertX2DVD....and burn..
But if it fails try VobEdit>IfoEdit for new DVD structure...good luck!

If you have to re-build, do not use ConvertXtoDVD, as it will re-encode. Use VOB2MPG as suggested, but then use an authoring tool like GUIForDVDAuthor.
