  1. I finally ripped a DVD to DVD+RW that plays on my standalone. Ripped with DVD Decrypter in ISO mode and then burning image using ULEAD DVD Movie Factory. Ripping in file mode with Decrypter, Smart Rip, or Clad and burning with NERO has been unsuccessful. ISO is fine for the smaller originals but I can't remove extras from the big disks in ISO format. Can someone explain why the ISO is working and I can't rip and burn with the file mode?

  3. Yes, I did burn in UDF/ISO. I used two different guides I found for Nero and everything I found said to use that format. I tried both ISO level 1 and 2, Joliet disabled/enabled both and have had no luck. The guides I've found do not talk specifically about any switches other than addressing UDF/ISO format and disabling Joliet, does anyone know of a guide that provides details for the other switches? THANKS

  4. Y,

In regards to ISO vs. File backups, I was wondering when you utilized SmartRipper, did you select BACKUP from the left menu or did you select Movie? Reason being is that I backed up a DVD of mine recently using the BACKUP option. I then burned the Video _TS folder to DVD-R with my Pioneer A03 and it plays fine on both my Apex 703 and Pioneer 434.
