we have Toshi SD4000 - at some 'random-time' while playing a movie the black captioning-text-box 'appears' (without any intervention from user). Once the black-box appears on screen (taking up some 30-40% of the screen real-estate) a single line of white-captioned-text appears, and then no further captioning text.
However, the black-box remains on-screen and will not go away regardless of what we do with the remote - NO key / button on the remote removes the black-box on the screen - ONE can still view the 'movie' around the black-box - the movie continue(s) but the black-box stays...
any help would be greatly appreciated
these DVDs seem to work flawlessly on either Windows XP PC and/or Macintosh OS "X" laptops with DVD player software...
