    Hello,

my fanless psu gives off RFI on my tv when my computer is turned on, as soon as I turn it off the interference disappears. Someone suggested that I plug it into an rfi filtering power bar but that didn't work at all. any ideas on how I can get rid of this interference and keep the power supply? I like the low noise but I still wanna be able to watch tv at the same time. thanks

    hiya nick-

you need to figure out if the cords are broadcasting the RFI, if there is some positioning issue with your TV etc. If you have cable it shouldn't be able to get into your TV on the coax. I wonder if your computer is grounded at all...

if the RFI is coming thru the wires in the wall, the filter should have worked.
if it is being broadcast by the PSU wires, you can fold them & tie-wrap'em - the idea being to get their unwanted 'signal' to cancel itself as much as possible
if it is coming from the brick itself, or just the wire after the converter brick you can shield the unit in various Rube Goldberg ways- any grounded metal or or one of those cable RFI traps should work. For example, ground one of those cheap 2 drawer filing cabinets and stick the PS inside!
