Panasonic S77 Hack?

I found a hack listed as follows:

You can enter these codes with a PocketPC using TV Remote Controller and making a CCF file with these codes. Or use a Palm with Omniremote. Make sure no disc in the player when entering this code.

Alrighty, I've created a CCF file, but the sequence is either too short or too long. For example, my power ir code is:

If I go with the R5 or R6 in the CCF editor, the ir sequence is too long. It only remains as learned.

Any suggestions or perhaps someone else had successfully done this and might send me the working CCF file.

I also have the Panasonic S77 and it seems like it does not play any foreign DVDs, I see you came up with a hack to unlock the region, but I didnt get how to do it, can you please explain?
I have went out of my way and boughta 250 dollar DVD player thinking it will play anything, I guess I was wrong. I wonder, my friend bought one of those cheap Walmart DVD players, those play just about any DVD.
