Mpeg 2 capture advice please

Hi Guys, not posted for a while, but could do with some help.

I had to do a full system restore and lost a lot of by set up.

Somehow (probably by accident) I was able to capture unlimited file size mpeg2 files. I then edited as required.

Problem is the software now wont work. So Ii am looking for reccomendations for a prog that does the following:

Free (of course!)
Captures in MPEG2
Doesn't file split

Oh BTW my card is an Aver pc203

What software did you use that doesn't work now?

I was using the Aver software (I downloaded the most up to date version) when I download and install now all I get is the prog refuses to start or crashes seconds after launch. The only version I could get to work is the original that was bundled but it splits the mpeg2 files at 4gig. My HD that I am using for capture is NTFS, so I dont think its a system prob, rather a software one.
