  1. I am tired of trying to work with my video capture card, plus I got a different camera to recored videos. Now I am just wanting to back up old vhs and 8mm tapes.

I already have a vhs player and an 8mm camera. So can I just buy a dvd recorder and capture video from vhs player/8mm camera to the dvd?

I have not done much searching but I would like something cheap, really below 100 but I don't want garbage either.

edit: the reviews on MWR10D6 look nice

  2. Yes, you can. Most of us seem to be using the Panasonics or Pioneers (Not sure if they are sold now). A HD model is worth the extra money.
