I though of getting me an mp4 recorder and hook up a external minicamera with composite output.
Have anyone tried anyone of thoose mp4 recorders? any sampleclips anywhere?
The cameras with wires dont cost many $ but the recorders do I dont wanna pay a fortune.
My idea was to put the camera on my shoulder/or hat (so I dont have to hold anything in my hand) and record while im partying
So I want to record segments longer than 30 min or so.
And the video have to atleast record in 320x240 @ 25fps or so.
By portable I mean that it will fit in a fannypack or in a pocket.
Ive read that RipRoar have a device that can record from VCR with A/V composite,
http://www.amazon.com/Rip-Roar-Video-Free-Player/dp/B000HAZNDC
But reviews says that the sound isnt that good even directly from television.

But a little bit pricy for me 180$ and with 30gb I wud be happy just with 2gb flashcard.
Ebay have alot of Chineese bootleg mp4 players but none list if they have A/V input instead they have built in cameras with really low resolution. -
Take a look at security camera dealers. I believe I've seen several Flash based recorders.
