Is there anyway to make a Vcd that you can rewind and fast forward on using nero?
Thanks.

do you mean with SVCD? if so you'll need the scandat.dat file if its an older version of nero.

check out step 4.
this is if I'm understanding your question correctly -
I've read the instructions for Nero (i have 5.5.4)and did them several times. I added the scandata.dat file to the EXT file, but that doesn't work when I burn LOTR SVCD my player (Mintek 2580?). I still can't ff or rewind or pause. It works by default for vcds, however. Also, I can't fit the entire cd1 file on a svcd, but it's only 794 meg?

I think the problem is with my player, I think. I watche the movie on my computer, and it's the whole thing. A new player will probably solve my problem.

Why don't you use something like TSCV or VCDEasy to burn ? they make much more standard VCD/SVCD, and it might work on your player.
