    Hello,

    I just used avi2dvd to make a svcd to a cd and i put it into a dvd player but it doesn't work.
    So i try to download a dvd player software onto the computer and run it with that and it gives an error with the scandata file?
    I tried to do it twice with same result

    What's going on?

    what software dvd player? windvd? powerdvd? try VLC Media Player.

    And not all dvd players supports SVCD. Or it could be a PAL/NTSC issue. Or CD media Problem.

    software player was avs player
    and the actual phyiscal player is a ndt-40

    I know it supports svcd because i checked on this site and also when i put the cd in it says super video cd but nothing plays...
