How do I cut a MOV?

I recorded a 45 second video on my digital camera and transfered it to the computer. It's in MOV format and I'd like to edit it a little, basically just cutting off the beginning and end. Then I'd like to save it at a relatively small size so I can have it in a streaming player on my site. How would I do this? Thanks.
