Hey all, sorry for the "dumb" question, but I am at work right now and my daughter called me in a panic and wants me to split her Quicktime video in half and make two parts. No conversions, effects, chapters, menus, just make two files out of the single file she has now. Why?? Heck, I don't know and am scared to ask . I have to do this after work when I get home (oh, joy) and thought that I would try to get a heads-up first. I will try Studio 14, I know it will do certain .mov files and not others, but I have never worked with .mov files in my life, never had Apple equipment. In case Studio won't handle it, does anybody know a freebie tool that will do a simple cut and save?

Thanks, I successfully loaded the .mov file and it played fine. I tried to figure out how the counter and editor works on my own with no success, but tonight I will step through your tutorial. So far it looks promising.
