I have a question about ffmpegx. In converting several .vob files to DV, the program worked extremely well. However, on my original attempt to convert a specific .vob file, I converted it to an .avi file. Since that skewed the quality of the video somewhat, I wanted to convert this file again, this time to DV. However, the program is not letting me do so. It instantly creates a DV file, but it is an empty file. In a nutshell, Is there something in the program that prevents one from converting the same file more than once?

In the ffmpegX Progress window, press the blue "i" () to access the log. If you post that output here, we may be able to decypher what went wrong.

When using the ffmpeg engine and your audio/video streams appear inverted (audio before video), then enable "Invert mapping" in the audio tab, to avoid the 'Codec type mismatch' error.
