Well,I use NERO,latest version, and my daughter wants me to convert and write an MP3 DVD-r.In most things I AM NOT A NEWBIE,BUT!,there is always one of those,is there anyway that you can add the "albums" of MP3s ,in such a way that they stay in their respective album slots or in the order I add them?As it is now,I add ,say titles 1 thru 18,and then I add the next album of 1 thru 11 and it,NERO,puts all the songs that are 1 together at the top!Now I already thought I could rename them! But that is several 100's of songs. And ,if I keep them in the album folders, the DVD player or CD player will not play them. Any ideas?I have looked and there is no obvious change that can be made to the "preferences" in the NERO software. Thnkyou,BC

I think you should be able to just drag and drop and burn as data. Then it should be playable by any dvd player that reads mp3.

Worth a try... (I have done successfully before but can't remember the program I used).

Thanks mats didn't notice that. Yeah the way I make my regular mp3 cds is to take the seperate folders I have for each album and then burn those. So example:

    ROOT

    ----ARTIST

    ---------ALBUM

Then the mp3s for each seperate album go in to the corresponding folder. Then just drag and drop each artist folder so that the albums inside stay intact.

PlayList Unpacker for WinAmp adds a prefix to the filename so when the files get alphabetized, the order stays the same as your playlist. That's what I use to keep albums grouped and in order.

I just rip/rename all of my mp3's into a format to control this same issue. I use artist - album - song.mp3.

Then whereever you put/use the files, they stay together. I find this a lot easier than having multiple folders.
