I need to demux the audio stream and because I have AMD it does not accept any application that uses SSE.
What other tools can I use to demux in a wave file output?
    Thanks

without more detail my first suggestion would be to use virtualdub or virtualdubmod if its an mpeg or vob file. Then go to file-save wav in virtualdub. Or in virtualdubmod go to streams and then choose the stream you want and save the wav that way.

Alternatively if its a mpg file you can use tmpgenc plus 2.5 and go to mpeg tools and demultiplex and then save the audio out that way.

You should post more detail about your source file so we can be more specific.

Belate Thank you for your suggestions.
I have used Womble Mpeg video editor to increase/normalise volume.
