I have a .avi xvid file that has a 6 channel .ac3 audio file on it. I want to demux the audio part of the file, but I can't seem to do that. I have tried avidemux, but it never actually saves anything. I have also tried many of the other tools on this website, but none of them seem to be able to demux this audio.
Any suggestions? Should avidemux be able to do this? If so, what are the steps?
Thanks in advance.

VdubMod=>streams=>streamlist=>highlight that stream and use demux button
