black hawk down cd 1 on avi

i havew just got black hawk down cd 1 on avi format, for some reason when i try to play it, i can get sound but no pic, is there something i should be doing?? sorry ppl im just new to this

i am guessing you need to download the divx codec
just goto www.divx.com and grab it then

i wish people would realize that the shit they are pimping on www.divx.com is NOT what the encoders are using.

click the link to the left that says tools and get DivX 3.11 Alpha then write an e-mail to www.divx.com and ask them why their codec doesn't understand ANY DivX 3.11 alpha audio. there are also "glitches" decoding DivX 3.11 Alpha encoded video.

if you want the codec that the avi was encoded with get DivX 3.11 Alpha, if you want a half assed codec that is afraid to step on the mighty M$'s toes then get 'DivX 4.whatever' and expect "glitches" in the future.
