I have Sony Vegas 6.0 here. I have installed the trial version (new version 7.0d). One of my "friends" told me to choose "yes" on a pop-up screen at the beginning for .veg icons associations... Anyway, it could have been be much easier going to Preferences> General and uncheck the option for that screen. Instead, I was told to associate my veg files with version 6 (both are here) and I lost my original .veg files for version 7. Some system restores later and reinstalling Vegas 6 didn't correct the problem. What can I do to have that grey "V" icon back or even the one that comes with version 7 (please note that is a trial version).
Thanks,
Mark
