i recieved payment through paypal from a buyer of something i sold on ebay right....
but i never transferred this money anywhere (until now im sending it to my bank account)
what i want to know is if the process usually takes a while to get there (from my paypals balance to my banks balance)? cuz right now it's pending
and as long as i got the money through paypal fom the buyer hes as good as "paid" and i will be able to obtain the cash right?? because there is no cash in my banks balance yet, but it shows his payment in paypal![]()

it is right away from paypal to the bank usually - BUT many banks will "hold" these transfers from 3 days to 2 weeks before you get credit ..
some have no delay at all (like mine) - i do not let paypal have access to my main accounts - only a small account and a basically throw away credit card with a very low limit on it"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
I see, the transfer/status on paypal to my bank said pending but has now confirmed.
But the money still not there...is that the 3 days - 2 week deal? -
With Paypal I normally can transfer funds from Paypal to my checking account, and the cash will be in the checking account by the 4th or 5th business day.

Right I checked with my bank this morning, and thankfully, it is there.
It was very strange that while during the transaction/transfer there wasnt any notices as pending from my bank account. Which is what had me worried, but the money just popped up all of a sudden.
Thanks for the shoulder to lean on ya'll I was worried -
Be careful with PayPal - I'm sure you've heard horror stories from websites. For most people who BUY using PayPal there should be no problem, but as a seller, don't assume that because your buyer paid you that you are safe. PayPal has the nasty habit of freezing seller accounts for no reason, sometimes when you get many payments and transfer them immediately to your bank account - There have been seller accounts being frozen for over a year for no reason, just because the seller deposited their money in their bank right after the sale.
Always keep some funds in your paypal account, active. And wish that you never get chargebacks or disputes, because chances are as sellers using paypal you WILL get them - Most of the time false claims of non receipt or item not as described - then your account gets frozen - One bit of advice, NEVER link your primary bank account to PayPal EVER - Go to your bank and request a secondary savings account with minimal funds and have PayPal ONLY access to that one account - This is what I do.
