This has been my first attempt encoding with DVD2SVCD>CCE2.5 combo.
The final svcd looks super sharp but is vertically flattened. What settings do I need to change? Have no idea exactly what I did except follow doom9's guide for encoding.![]()

Define vertically flattened, do you mean wide screen or that the people/images are not at the correct aspect ratio? Are there black bars at the top/bottom of the screen?

Yes, the aspect ratio is incorrect. It's a widescreen rip and the top and bottom black borders are much wider (about twice as wide) than on the original dvd.

you probably choose 16:9 for a letterboxed widescreen movie. Read the newbie faq/reference.
