Sorry if this isn't in the right place. I've been having a strange problem with AutoGK. It's not even really a problem, I just can't release my videos with it, and I haven't had much luck finding other people with the same problem.

So I put a large XVID file into the input, and then reduce the video to another XVID file that is about 30 MB. Everything works out fine, but there is a weird blip at the beginning of the video, that isn't in the larger file. It basically takes a frame from about 30 seconds from the end and just flashes it before the video begins. It's very strange. The same thing happened with another video, so I know it's not the source file, but the program that is causing this stray frame. Any ideas? Thanks!

  2. Don't know if I can help, but if you load the large XviD in VDubMod, do you see the first frame saying something like:
"Nothing to output - b frame decoder lag"?

  4. Reload your xvid codecs .. eg remove , reboot and then reload and then reboot again before trying this again. Th reboots are necessary for msft to register and install the codecs. Also install gspot and display available codecs. Sounds like old, xvid

Thanks, I tried the reinstall but it didn't do anything, so I'll try the gspot program to see what's going on. I'll be back...

Okay, I tried this and it didn't seem to help. I don't think it's the Xvid codec. I could be wrong, though. Any other suggestions?
