Glitch...Glitch....Freeze

Ok ran into my first playback problem.

Trying to back up "stranger than fiction" which has a R1 protect by sony or something like that. Used AnyDVD to run in the background and then DVDShrink with no success...something about improper DVD structures.

Well I read to use DVDClone2 while using AnyDVD. Ripped it fine and used that VIDEO_TS file and used ImgBurn the make a DL 1:1 copy.

Worked great until about 5-10 mins before the layer break. The movie glitched, glitched then completely froze my PS2 (which is my DVD player).

Why would this be?

Bad burn? Bad Rip? Should I try another program?

Just want advice before I start experimenting with DL discs.

Try uising RipIt4Me instead, then ImgBurn.
