    Hello chaps,

Muxman provides just what I am looking for in muxing mpeg2 video and separate language audio tracks.

However, I have six audio tracks that I wish to mux, while Muxman (standard) only allows me to add four audio tracks.

Is there any way around this limitation?

I wish to use muxman because of the ability to define the language, which I believe will be required in order to maintain functionality with a menu which I which to reuse.

    Kind regards,
    James

I don't know about Muxman, but Rejig has a similar interface; and it doesn't have any obvious limit on the number of audio tracks it can mux with a video. I just tried it with 7 AC3 tracks and it worked fine.

You label each track with a language as in Muxman.

Have you tried out ifoedit or rejig?

As far as the free muxman yes there is a way around this limitation. It requires editing the .mxp file of muxman in order to add the extra 2 audio tracks. You don't have to define the language as the attributes should be maintained in the original dvd structure when you replace using vobblanker. But you do have to put it in the exact order.

The editing of the .mxp file is similar in this thread (scroll towards the bottom):

But since you are doing audio instead of subs, you may need additional info that is required for audio(such as type and size).

    1) So what you do is load audio track 5 & 6 into muxman and save project. Give this .mxp file a separate filename like audio5and6.mxp.

    2) Then start a new muxman project - adding video, the 1st 4 audio tracks, subs, celltimes, etc. Save this project to whatever filename you want to.

    3) Open up both .mxp files and now you have to copy the 2 audio tracks from step 1, and paste to the .mxp file you saved in step 2. Paste it AFTER stream#4. Change the pasted stream numbers to 5 & 6 respectively....and save this .mxp file.

    4) Load this new modified .mxp file (with 6 audio tracks) into muxman and click start.
