hi 20% of the time i convert movies from ntsc 2 pal, and from xvid 2 dvd.

the frame rate is out by a couple of mili-frames.

For instance, i have an ntsc film 23.976 frame rate, using virtual dub i direct copy the video and change the frame rate to 25.000 Pal, the video is no problem.

But when i direct copy the audio - Save Wav, and use beSliced to save it properly as what is was i.e. vbr mp3 or an ac3 file. After that i run it through beSweets gui and use the ntsc to pal conversion 20% of the time it dosn't always save it as pal 25.000, it saves as 25.001 or 25.003 or 25.004.

I want matching audio and video streams that run at 25.000, i've tried saving it as pcm wave and doing the ntsc 2 pal and saving as a pcm wave before saving as an ac3 and still no luck.
I've tried after converting 25.001 to 25.000 it says its done it but after checking nothing has changed.

Is there any fixes for this, or another program to use to fix it? - thanks!

Best bet is not to do NTSC -> PAL conversion at all, since most PAL players /TVs play/display NTSC material fine.

    Exactly.
Now, not all AVIs are easy to convert to anything, so you may still run into sync problems, but that's another story.
