vista basic and dvd2svcd

ive got same problem same error code as few of the users
but when i right click i dont get the run as admin option
and how do i disable uac thingy me jobby

First: are you running dvd2svcd or SVCD2DVD? These are 2 different programs.

Do away with the SVCD2DVD tripe if they can't get it compatible with vista, go for the convertxdvd piece of kit a lot better and compatible with vista without disabling all sorts and installing net framework 1 etc etc

Oh, but it is compatible with Vista. You just have to run it as administrator just like any number of other programs. Get your facts straight before spouting off.

Calm yourself Dwight, it's that compatible with vista that the forum is full of people with issues with it ??? is that correct and even trying to run the outdated tripe with Vista you have install different netframeworks and disable UAC

So why bother install convertx2dvd and thats it, picture quality ease of use, ease of install of you go.

Don't bother with this spyware tripe svcd2dvd as stated its seen its days and is outdated, its a bit like VHS versus dvd's :P :P :P :P
